Oklahoma Tornadoes
Airbnb.org is partnering with Heartline 211 and Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management to provide free, emergency housing for people who have been displaced by the tornadoes in Oklahoma. HeartLine, through the 211 Community Resource Line, is identifying residents in need of temporary housing and referring them to Airbnb.org, in coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management.Residents impacted by tornadoes in northern Oklahoma can request temporary housing support by dialing 211. Available 24 hours a day, 211 is a free, confidential service that connects individuals and families to essential community services including shelter, food, disaster relief, and mental health support.
If you’d like to help provide free stays to people impacted by the torandoes, you can make a donation to Airbnb.org. 100% of donations go directly to emergency housing. If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
